In the Shadows of the Evening

An attempt to write a sonnet- which, I think, is an unbelievably difficult thing to write by the way. I've sort of got a volta somewhere in there, and hopefully the attempts at adhering to technicalities are passable.

Upon the horizon, the sun has set,
Yet the sheltering night wanders astray.
The candles sit waiting, lest you forget;
Though hidden, the darkness is on its way.
Sensing the interlude, prey rushes home,
While in preparation, hunters emerge.
Bathed in the twilight, and tinted in chrome,
The ripples and heavens begin to merge.
The sights and sounds, all mysteries galore.
Guarded secrets and treasures, free at last,
Only to vanish with dusk, sans furore.
Another chance gone- a thing of the past.
But the true wonder lies in ignorance, not knowing;
In waiting, and watching, in fascinations growing.

I m poor at scribbling still tho :) ...

Now u are going to enter a phase of social responsibility ,
Slow impulsive decision-state, N
More of thoughtful I guess, in every step.
Since then and from as the days will pass,
Remembrance of those should make you caste
The importance of your presence has created
A soft n better world hereon for now
To make all us united to stay in " friendship "
....... Is all that we have at last.
